About Us
Goldencharm is set up to specialise in providing gold charms, charm bracelets and chains. Our aim is to offer the greatest range of charms of any site on the Internet, at prices significantly below what you might pay in a retail jeweller.

We ship worldwide, all jewellery will be made in 9 carat gold and hallmarked according to the "Hallmarking Act 1973 ", unless marked otherwise.
Prices include postage and packing within UK. You will be mailed immediately if we cannot despatch your order within 48 hours .
We will have regular promotions and special offers.
If the site is successful we aim to grow to displaying over 1,000 lines. (we have about 400 so far, plus bracelets and chains.) If you have any suggestions about what we should stock, or any comments at all about the site, please email us at <sales@goldencharm.co.uk>.
If you have a particular charm you want but cannot find, we might know where one could be found: there could be a small additional charge if we have to order your item alone. Also, we could possibly make it up for you. If it's a design that should sell, we might even subsidise the cost! Give us a call, or send an email, to outline what you'd like.
Making A Purchase
Each product is described by its approximate weight in grammes, and its approximate height and width (in mm) are also given. These are indications only, as variations do occur - remember you can return anything you do not like.
Click on the 'Add To Order' button next to any items that you wish to buy. After you have finished your selection, click on the (checkout) button on the left of the screen and you will be asked for the details that we need to be able to satisfy your requirements.
We prefer credit card payment. It is secure (see paragraph below - Credit Card Security). If you want to pay by cheque, or other means, please indicate as much, and we will send you a pro forma invoice. Your order will be despatched when we receive your payment (there will be the usual delay while cheques clear).
Shipping And Handling
Prices include a presentation box, and free delivery to a UK address. Recorded Post is recommended for all orders for speed and reliability. It will cost you £4 extra if your order is under £50 - otherwise we automatically send orders over this amount as Special Delivery, without charge.
Delivery outside UK will be sent to anywhere our beloved Royal Mail will insure the packet, as per the lists given. Packets will go by express airmail, unless indicate otherwise. There is a £4 cost for this service, but only on orders smaller than £100. Otherwise there is no charge.
Outside the Eurpean Community, you would be liable for any customs duty payable.
Delivery Schedule
All orders will normally go within 48 hours of receipt of order - sooner if possible. Special Delivery orders are given additional priority.
Should we not have stock you will be notified and advised when you should expect delivery, and given the option to change or cancel your order. (We hate to turn orders away, but we will be straight.)
Back Orders
If you have been advised that your order is not immediately deliverable, and have elected to wait until an item is back in stock, we will despatch it immediately on receipt or, if you wish, advise you when we have it so you may confirm you still want it.
You will not be charged for any product until it is available for despatch.
Tax Charges
Since goldencharm is small and new, VAT is not currently charged. When we get a bit bigger we'll have to register, so future prices may have to go up a bit.
Customers outside the European Community could be liable to import duty on their purchases. This is quite unlikely in most cases, and we promise not to overstate the value of products on our customs declaration..............
Credit Card Security
This site is written using Actinic Catalog software. Actinic Catalog is widely used around the world for this purpose, and the company knows of no documented cases of credit card fraud using this shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
128 bit encryption is effectively unbreakable, so it is safer to submit your credit card details to this site than to send them separately by email. You will also note (from the little padlock that appears on the relevant screen) that the ordering bit is done on a Secure Server.
Guarantee
If you don't like anything we send you, for any reason, post it back for a substitution or a full refund,.
If you keep something for thirty days, we'll assume you're happy with it.
But, if anything breaks, and you feel you weren't treating it unreasonably, please return it for replacement, repair, or refund.

goldencharm does not disclose buyers' information to third parties. We may use your details to mail you with details of goldencharm special offers, but that is all. We do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam). You may opt out of receiving email from us when you give us your details.
We conform with the requirements of the Data Protection Act, 1998.
Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item.
